Current Fees Effective July 1, 2024

  • Commercial Construction: $0.336 per square foot

  • Level I Residential Construction: $2.07 per square foot

Fees will be charged using the most current rate which has been approved by the Placer Union High School District Board of Trustees. Fees must be paid prior to the City issuing building permits.

Please note the Residential Fee of $2.07 applies to ADU's and JADU's (500 square feet and above)

Developer Fee Procedures:

  1. Contact the appropriate City or County to obtain a permit application. Wait until the City or County completes the application for permit information before proceeding.

  2.  Email a copy of the County Permit Issuance Checklist to Ann Walsh, Senior District Administrative Assistant, Administrative Services: awalsh@puhsd.k12.ca.us; Phone (530) 886-4413.

  3. Present a cashier's check or business/personal check made payable to Placer Union High School District (or PUHSD) for the amount indicated for payment of fees.

  4. Receive a Certificate of Compliance from Placer Union High School District, which the applicant will present to the City or County.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Placer Union High School District (“District”) has completed and is making available for public review its proposed Annual Developer Fee Report and Five-Year Findings (“Fee Report”) pursuant to Government Code sections 66001 and 66006(b)(2) for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025.  

The Board will review the Fee Report at its next regularly scheduled public meeting on Tuesday, December 16, 2025.  The public meeting for this purpose will begin at 5:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as practicable, and will be held at the Ron V. Oates (RVO) Meeting Room, 13000 New Airport Road, Auburn, California 95603.
